Welcome to Huapai Centre
The Just Kidz Huapai centre operates from a beautifully designed 3 room centre located at 335 Main Road, Huapai. The centre caters for up to 45 children from birth to 6 years. We are open from 7am – 6pm and offer half day sessions, ‘school’ days or full days on either a full-time or part time attendance.
Our team have a wealth of experience and provide a warm, nurturing environment in which children thrive. Because we are a small, boutique preschool, your child will receive quality interactions with teachers that are passionate about learning and development.
Huapai is a unique community and we understand the importance of family and whanau as an integral part of the child’s learning journey. We are focused on embracing cultural diversity, and we acknowledge and respect the contributions our families make.
Our teachers value an environment which inspires curiosity and exploration, which in turn develops deep and meaningful relationships based on mutual respect. As a team we are committed to supporting each individual child’s passion, skills and needs. We value each child’s holistic development and encourage their aspirations, creativity, confidence, and provide them with a genuine sense of belonging.
I went to collect my grandson from JustKidz Huapai and was very impressed with their environments and the staff. As an ex school teacher I have high expectations. I loved the natural wooden furniture, creative spaces and interactive activities encouraging imaginative play. Very friendly connections with staff and other children. No wonder my grandson loves being there, and my daughter has such confidence in the centre.
My 2 year old daughter attends Just Kidz Huapai and absolutely loves it, she cheers “Daycare” every morning we pull in, which is a big deal for our little mummies girl. I really appreciate the warm, friendly and interactive environment she gets to be a part of.”
“Love “Just Kidz” Huapai – Beautiful new centre and amazing staff who take a real personal interest in getting to know you and your children – Perfect fit for Remy – Thank you :)”
As educators we believe that by providing a stimulating environment and opportunities for children to build on their strengths and interests, they will become competent, confident, lifelong learners. Learners who are independent, capable and resilient, full of wonder and knowledge.
Our online and classroom portfolios provide a platform to connect home and preschool interests and experiences. Our parents are informed and productive members of a collaborative educational team. We aim to foster a developmentally appropriate programme designed to help each child reach their full potential. Our Reggio-inspired curriculum encompasses a positive learning environment where children can blossom and grow alongside each other.
We promote an open-door policy and communication processes that are transparent. We encourage our parents/whanau/caregivers to feel a sense of belonging within our environment, and to talk to us at any time about their child’s learning, wellbeing and development. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information regarding our centre or if you would like to come and visit.
