Centre Director

Kia Ora, my name is Angie, and I am the Centre Director at Just Kidz Henderson.

I hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching and a Master's degree in business. I started my teaching journey in 2013, and I have a great passion for early childhood education. I also believe every child is unique and has its own potential. I have three children and live with my partner in West Auckland. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, gardening, travelling and spending time with my family and friends.

I look forward to being part of your child’s learning journey!

Emma Cox

Head Teacher Tui Room (Under Two’s)

Kia Ora, my name is Emma. I am a mum to a wonderful 10-year-old boy called Ollie, who I love spending time with, watching movies, and going on walks in my spare time. I hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Teaching, with over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages both in the UK and here in New Zealand.

I strongly believe that every child who is capable and competent and provided with a safe and stimulating environment that considers their needs will succeed and become a lifelong learner. I am passionate about working with the Under 2's, providing for their care moments in an unlimited environment where they feel safe and secure within their relationships to explore, learn and grow.

Rachelle Mountford

My name is Rachelle, and I was born and raised in Rotorua. I have recently moved here to Auckland with my partner. I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in teaching early childhood, and I am a fully registered teacher. I love working with tamariki and watching them grow as competent and confident individuals. Early childhood education has always been my passion, and I'm excited to see where my teaching journey will take me.

Serena Hughes

Kia Ora, my name is Serena Hughes.

I have 20 years of experience working in early childhood education. I am a mother of three children aged 22, 19, and 13 years old. I am also a proud nana of a 2-year-old little girl named Lake. I have a great passion for working with children of all ages and consider myself to be a loving and caring person who has a great work ethic. I am very committed to working and learning alongside your children. I look forward to watching them grow, build new friendships and become capable, confident learners.

Aliitasi Afamasaga

Tui Room Teacher (Under Two’s)

Tolafa Lava. Kia Ora, and warm greetings to you all. My name is Aliitasi Afamasaga. I'm a Samoan, and I am a mother of 3 children. We lived in Ranui. I studied at Te Tari Puna Ora O Aotearoa from 2009 to 2013(ECE NZ). I completed my National Diploma in Teaching (ECE) and then followed this up with a Bachelor of Teaching. I am a fully registered teacher in Aotearoa, NZ.

I enjoy teaching and caring for our young children as I believe these are the most incredible years of a child's developmental stage, and it gives me great pleasure to see our tamariki as the competent and confident learners that they are.

Satbir Kaur

Tui Room Teacher (Under Two’s)

My name is Satbir Kaur; I was born and raised in India and moved to Aotearoa in 2016.

I have completed a Bachelor's in computing from India. I finished a graduate degree in computing and a graduate in business from New Zealand. I'm studying for a Graduate Diploma in Teaching in ECE at NZTC now.

I have always been passionate about working in the education sector.

I have started my ECE career in February 2021. My goal as a teacher is to provide an interactive and safe learning environment to the young ones so that they develop social skills and become kind, empathetic tiny humans.

Andrea Spraggs

I'm Andrea, and I'm excited to be working here at Just Kidz Henderson. I have been a registered ECE teacher for more than 13 years now. I live locally with my husband Jonny and my two boys, Isaac and Lucas, who keep me very busy! In my spare time, I love to read, listen to music and go exploring with my boys.

I love working with children of all ages, as they all have their own special qualities. I am passionate about children reaching their goals and having fun as they learn and grow. I also love learning about different cultures and languages. (I can speak Spanish fluently as I lived in Spain for six years.) I look forward to getting to know all of you and your families.

Narelle Jones

Kiwi Room Teacher (Toddlers 2-3 years)

Ko Narelle toku ingoa. I live in Massey, and I'm proud to be a Westie. I live with my husband, Mark, and our two sons, Ryan and Logan. I love animals, and our family includes a dog, two guinea pigs, a rabbit, budgies, quail and goldfish. In my spare time, I love to read and potter in the garden.

I discovered my passion for working with young children after having my own tamariki, and for over ten years, I have had the pleasure of having my career and my passion come together. I have a Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education, and I am fully registered. I am passionate about providing quality care and education for our tamariki and building partnerships with whanau. I believe in positive and respectful practice, allowing children to develop meaningful relationships and lead their own learning through play.

Michelle Suwantika

Kiwi Room Teacher (Toddlers 2-3 years)

My name is Michelle; I have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Unitec Institute of Technology. I am a fully registered teacher and have been working in ECE for almost 6 years.

In my spare time, I love to go to the beach, watch all sorts of dramas on Netflix, and spend time building Legos.

I have always loved looking after children from a young age and am passionate about working with children. It is such a privilege to nurture, guide and support children in their learning journey and watch them grow as individuals and achieve their milestones. I strongly believe in building reciprocal relationships with children, Whānau and teachers to create a safe and loving environment for them to grow and learn. I look forward to the relationships I will build with your children and Whānau.

My name is Bonnie. I hold a diploma in Early childhood Education and have been an Early childhood Educator for over 2 years.

I am excited to be working in such a beautiful and caring environment at Just Kidz Henderson. I am very passionate about working with children! I love the energy they bring, and being able to see them grow and develop new skills every day is a great experience.

I have 2 lovely daughters (11years& 8years). I can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. I love fitness and dancing. In my spare time, I like meeting with my friends and going shopping. I'm very happy to be part of the Just Kidz Henderson team; I look forward to getting to know you all.

Abigail Suwantika

My name is Abi. I have a graduate diploma in early childhood education from the University of Waikato. I am a fully registered teacher and have been working in ECE for almost 10 years.

I have a Bachelor of Music from the University of Auckland and originally planned to be a high school music teacher, but I was persuaded by my lovely mum (who is also an ECE teacher) to give early childhood a go, and I have never looked back!

In my spare time, I love to watch Korean dramas with my husband and pretty much anything on Netflix.

I am very passionate about working alongside children and establishing reciprocal relationships with them and their whānau. I am incredibly excited to be working at Just Kidz and getting to know all the tamariki and their whānau.

Louis Zhang

My name is Louis. I am an enthusiastic NZ fully registered ECE teacher and hold a current First Aid certificate. I am originally from China and speak fluently in both English and Mandarin. I have been working in ECE for about 6 years. As a male teacher, I strive to be a capable and qualified ECE teacher. I like to provide a challenging, inviting and positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued and comfortable.

I have three children, two girls and one boy. I enjoy my family time. I also like fishing, listening to music, singing and travelling in my spare time.

My name is Mesha, and I am Māori, Dutch and New Zealand European. I am a qualified teacher currently working towards completing my registration. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood from the University of Auckland and completed this in 2012. I have had over 7 years of experience working in the industry in both New Zealand and Australia. I have two beautiful children named Azaylia and Te Puna, and in my spare time, I like to hang out with my whānau, watch my children play sports and watch Netflix series and movies.

The heart of my teaching philosophy is based on collaboration and working together with everyone, including children, whānau and teachers. I have always loved working with children and find this industry to be fun and exciting as I get to be a big part of supporting and guiding children to learn and grow. I am excited to be a part of Just Kidz Henderson and be able to support, guide and teach the tamariki here.

My name is Rakhee; I have worked for over 20 years in the Early Childhood Education sector. I hold a Bachelor's degree in teaching, which has been an amazing journey. My husband and I live out west with our four children, our dog Cleo and four chickens, which keep me pretty busy. I love to spend time with my whānau and friends on the weekends, gardening, cooking, baking and dancing.

I have a real passion for teaching and providing a positive, fun environment with respect and kindness. I enjoy bringing nature and culture into our learning environment as I extend and teach tamariki. I look forward to getting to know you all, and I am very happy to be part of the Just Kidz Henderson team.
