Centre Director

Kia Ora, my name is Angie, and I am the Centre Director at Just Kidz Henderson.

I hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching and a Master's degree in business. I started my teaching journey in 2013, and I have a great passion for early childhood education. I also believe every child is unique and has its own potential. I have three children and live with my partner in West Auckland. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, gardening, travelling and spending time with my family and friends.

I look forward to being part of your child’s learning journey!

I’m Jess and I live locally with my partner Shawn and our beautiful 3-year-old son Rico. Working with young children has always been a strong passion of mine and is very rewarding being a part of their learning and development. I have been working as a qualified and registered early childhood teacher since 2012.

I am thoroughly excited to be joining the Tui Room and the Just Kidz community.
Andrea Spraggs (Head Teacher – Kiwi Room 2-3 Years)
Kia Ora,

I'm Andrea, and I'm excited to be working here at Just Kidz Henderson. I have been a registered ECE teacher for more than 13 years now. I live locally with my husband Jonny and my two boys, Isaac and Lucas, who keep me very busy! In my spare time, I love to read, listen to music and go exploring with my boys.

I love working with children of all ages, as they all have their own special qualities. I am passionate about children reaching their goals and having fun as they learn and grow. I also love learning about different cultures and languages. (I can speak Spanish fluently as I lived in Spain for six years.) I look forward to getting to know all of you and your families.
Louis Zhang (Head Teacher Kea Room - Younger Preschool 3-4 years)
Hi Everyone,

My name is Louis. I am an enthusiastic NZ fully registered ECE teacher and hold a current First Aid certificate. I am originally from China and speak fluently in both English and Mandarin. I have been working in ECE since year 2013. As a male teacher, I strive to be a capable and qualified ECE teacher. I like to provide a challenging, inviting and positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued and comfortable.

I have three children, two girls and one boy. I enjoy my family time. I also like fishing, listening to music, singing and travelling in my spare time.

I am looking forward to working with you and your whānau.
Kim Walker (Ruru Room Head Teacher Preschool 4-5 yrs room)
Kia Ora, my name is Kimi, you will find me in the Ruru room with the 4–5-Year-olds.
I believe that when children feel safe and secure, they will thrive in the environment, where they become the third teacher alongside Kaiako and their peers.

I’m married with 3 grown up children and 5 grandsons. My hobbies include boating, fishing, craft work and I breed and show Burmilla cats.

I look forward to learning alongside the Tamariki here at Just Kidz Henderson.

My name is Emily Sun, and I live in Western Heights with my family. I have more than 10 years of experience working as a cook in Early Childhood Education Centres. I am passionate about healthy cooking, and I have taken community nutrition courses from the Heart Foundation. I'm looking forward to meeting you at Just Kidz. I will endeavour to make meals healthy and delicious.
